It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, and we’re feeling thrilled to introduce our two newest brands, 2NDDAY and DAY Birger et Mikkelsen. Both part of the DAY family, these contemporary Danish brands are already flying off the shelves!
Admirers of effortlessly cool Scandi style will adore 2NDDAY and DAY Birger et Mikkelsen. Both labels feature easy silhouettes, luxe fabrics, and subtle accents that highlight a fantastic level of attention to detail. Think slightly exaggerated shirt collars or vests with perfectly curved armholes. We also can’t get enough of the sophisticated colour range – timeless neutrals are complemented by vibrant accent colours like cerulean blue and mustard yellow.

Classics With A Difference: DAY Birger et Mikkelsen
DAY Birger et Mikkelsen has become one of the most popular contemporary Danish designer labels since its 1997 launch. Their designs feature quintessentially Scandi elements with a bohemian twist, such as oversized blouses with romantic bow details. DAY clothing exudes with optimism. The name derives from the belief that anything is possible when a new day comes.
High quality and comfort are essential parts of the DAY DNA. Creative director Christina Exsteen has said that her goal is to make women ‘feel good about the life they lead and the body they inhabit.’ DAY clothing is designed to support women and help them feel confident rather than restricted or self-conscious. Garments are made with soft, comfortable fabrics including organic cotton, viscose, and silk.

Diffusion With 2NDDAY
Launched in 2011, 2NDDAY is the DAY family’s diffusion line. The free-spirited designs are aimed at a slightly younger customer who loves rock ‘n’ roll just as much as she loves tailoring. 2NDDAY continues the DAY tradition of reinventing classic pieces in an unexpected way. They’ve become famous for using leather and denim for pieces that are typically made with soft fabrics, creating an urban, art-inspired aesthetic.
Sustainability plays a key role in the 2NDDAY ethos. The label has a ‘Think Twice’ range that encourages customers to seriously consider the origins of their purchase. Fortunately, they make sustainable shopping easy by using eco-friendly fabrics like organic and recycled cotton, recycled polyester, linen, and lyocell.
