First up: blue jeans. We’d leave the bow slightly loose, add a brown belt and loafers and call it a day.

We have found actual measurements for this exact style which is very helpful.

One useful quirk: despite the intentionally oversized cut, Essentiel Antwerp’s own product page flags this particular style as running small and recommends trying a size larger. So this is one where we’d pay more attention to the actual measurements and the look you want than simply applying the usual “size down in Essentiel” rule.

A BWD note on Essentiel sizing: Essentiel Antwerp is known for its oversized silhouettes, so don’t get too hung up on the number on the label. In some of its deliberately oversized pieces, a nominal UK 4 can comfortably work on someone who would usually wear a UK 8. Care
