How to wear the Kort Tee

Our first choice would be relaxed blue denim, a black belt and loafers, with the Kugar Contrast Cardigan in Brown over the top. Charcoal, chocolate brown and denim is a particularly good combination.

Or put it underneath the Kiva Printed Bomber in Dusty Green and let the jacket do all the talking. With black wide-leg trousers and trainers, you’ve got another very easy option.

What colours go with a charcoal grey T-shirt? Almost everything. Blue denim keeps it casual, cream gives you contrast, chocolate brown makes it feel richer and black creates an easy tonal look. Burgundy and dusty green are particularly good if you want to add colour without frightening the horses.

A BWD note on Essentiel sizing: Essentiel Antwerp loves to play with proportion—the brand itself describes its collections as a study of “proportion, print and color.” Many of its styles are deliberately relaxed or oversized, so don’t get too hung up on the number on the label. In the roomier styles, a nominal UK 4 can often work on someone who would usually wear a UK 8. With the Kort, we’d choose according to how relaxed you want your T-shirt to sit rather than automatically sizing down.
