The Day Birger et Mikkelsen Sindi Soft Lamb Jumper in Dark Grey Melange is exactly the sort of knit that earns its place at BWD by being ridiculously wearable.

Soft lamb wool gives it that lovely cosy feel you actually want from winter knitwear, while Dark Grey Melange is one of our favourite neutrals—softer than black, cooler than camel and particularly good with denim.

How we’d wear it…

With relaxed blue jeans, a black belt and loafers for an easy BWD uniform, or with black wide-leg trousers and trainers for something a little more Scandinavian.

We’d also wear it with cream denim and a chocolate-brown suede jacket—the grey, cream and brown combination is SO good.

And when the temperature really drops? Add the Samsøe Samsøe Sarue Balaclava and Long Gloves in Grey Melange and fully commit to the grey.

Care

Lamb wool deserves gentle treatment. Air between wears rather than washing unnecessarily and use a wool detergent on a gentle wool cycle or hand wash where the care label permits. Reshape carefully and dry flat away from direct heat. Store folded rather than hanging to help maintain its shape.
