The Essentiel Antwerp Kudzu 3/4 Length Legging in Black is a women’s black cropped legging with a slim, body-skimming fit, high-rise waist and clean ¾-length silhouette. Cut from a fabric with stretch and finished with a side zip fastening, it’s a much more polished proposition than your gym leggings.

This is one of those pieces that suddenly makes your oversized shirts, blazers and knitwear feel completely different. And that’s precisely why it made the BWD rails.

Or try the Kudzu with the Kugar Contrast Cardigan, a simple white tee and slingbacks. For something more casual, add an oversized sweatshirt, socks and trainers.

How do you wear ¾-length leggings without looking like you’re going to an aerobics class in 1987? Keep everything else modern. Oversized shirting, boxy jackets, loafers, ballet flats and sleek trainers completely change the conversation.

The Kudzu is a slim-fitting, high-waisted legging designed to sit close to the body, so this isn’t one of the Essentiel styles where we’d automatically tell you to size down.

A BWD note on Essentiel sizing: Essentiel Antwerp is known for playing with oversized silhouettes, and in some of those deliberately roomy styles a nominal UK 4 can easily work on someone who usually wears a UK 8. The Kudzu is different: it’s intentionally slim and fitted, so we’d recommend starting closer to your usual Essentiel size rather than automatically sizing down.
