Wax & Wick Wild Woods + Fir Candle

The Wax + Wick founder, originally from Copenhagen, wanted to create a product that encouraged slow and simple living. The Danish word, hygge, incorporates the meaning of both living in the present and appreciating the art of simple things. It was the meaning of this word and the passion for our environment that was of the inspiration for creating Wax + Wick Workshop.

Sustainability is at the brands core and is brought into every step from creating to disposing our products. They  take the art of candle making back to basics with only two ingredients… oils and soy wax-with no paraffin, artificial or synthetic colours. The candle jars are made using thick 100% recycled glass making them durable to be reused again and again once the candle has been burned.

The Wild Woods & Fir scent is fresh and sweet. The fragrance opens with refreshing notes of wild juniper berries and fir tree resin uplifted by crushed peppermint leaves. At the heart, cedar wood reaches into an earthy base of patchouli, musk, forest moss, cedar wood, patchouli and weathered moss.
