The Essentiel Antwerp Kollection Wide Legged Trousers in Steel Pulse Grey are women’s grey and black tailored trousers with a relaxed wide-leg silhouette and clever twisted side seams that give the leg a slightly sculptural shape. Cut from a midweight recycled-polyester blend with a touch of stretch, they combine proper tailoring with the exaggerated proportions Essentiel Antwerp does so well.

How to wear the Kollection Wide Legged Trousers

For everyday, we’d put them with the Essentiel Antwerp Kort Tee in White or Charcoal Grey, loafers and a belt. Easy.

The Kollection is designed for a relaxed fit with a wide leg, but unlike some of Essentiel’s enormous tops and jackets, these are trousers—so we wouldn’t automatically jump down several sizes.

The model shown is around 5’10” and wears size 36, which is useful context for judging that generous leg length.

Essentiel Antwerp UK size conversion

A BWD note on Essentiel sizing: Essentiel Antwerp is known for its oversized silhouettes, so don’t get too hung up on the number on the label. In some of its deliberately oversized tops, shirts and jackets, a nominal UK 4 can comfortably work on someone who would usually wear a UK 8. With the Kollection trousers, we’d pay more attention to the actual waist and hip measurements above and choose according to how relaxed you want them to sit.

Machine wash at 30°C. Do not bleach or tumble dry; iron on a low heat and do not dry clean.
